What is the best treatment for Eczema.?

Emollients (moisturisers)

Emollients reduce water loss from the outer layer of your skin by covering it with a protective film. This keeps the water in the skin where it is needed and also helps to keep infections and other harsh substances out. Emollient creams and ointments are essential in the prevention and treatment of eczema. Emollients are very safe and you cannot overuse them. They are not active drugs and do not get absorbed through the skin into the body. What is the best treatment for Eczema.?
Talk to your doctor. My sister has it and benifits from a topical cream. Also, try not to scratch... that only causes it to spread. What is the best treatment for Eczema.?
menthol cuts the itch. try adding vicks vapor rub to your lotion of choice. i add johnsons and johnsons vapor bath to my 2yr olds bath, if we don't use it we have a very bad next day. also, if it is severe (like us) we use wet dressings...i put my baby in wet pj's, i know this sounds insane, but it really works. most important thing is getting the ointment/lotion/prescription steroids on your skin within 3 mins of getting out of tub to seal the moisture in your skin. good luck
Good hygiene! And try not to scratch them... They will irritate...
See the source for some eczema cure information.
dry skin can lead to development of eczema in severe cases. that is why you need to keep the skin moist. to do this, you must first use an all natural skin care moisturizer that can be effective in locking in moisture to the skin. since it is all natural, it will not have negative side effects on the skin. you are maybe using product that is not effective on your skin type. all natural skin care works well for all skin types.

take care of your skin by having healthy habits and lifestyle. have proper diet, enough exercise and plenty of rest, sleep and relaxation to make the skin look good and healthy. avoid unhealthy habits like smoking and alcohol drinking for this can dry out the skin. avoid long hot baths. be gentle with the skin, do not be abrasive and never rub it.

I use a loofah in the shower with exfoliating shower gel, but my eczema isn't bad. I used to have a prescription lotion for it. Make a dermatologist appointment.
use dermeze cream [lol its paraffin but its really good] if its not too bad but you have to see a doctor and get cortizone cream for your skin or hydrocortizone for your face. also try paw paw ointment on your face and cold, damp cloths are good when your hot. if its itchy try an antihistamine such as phenergan so you dont scratch it.
