Has anybody out there who suffers with skin eczema found sucess in seeing a chinese herbalist for treatment?

My partner sufferes with eczema all over his body particually arms, feet, legs and bum. It is quite severe and tends to weep regular. He is under the hospital who have given him a number of creams etc to help and treat his condition. Non of which seem to be helping. Recently he has been to see a chinese herbalist who said that his condition is a very bad case in this country (uk). He has now been given various herbal remedies as the herbalist assumes that the creams and lotions given by the doctors are actually feeding the condition rather than helping. Has anyone found this a success?Has anybody out there who suffers with skin eczema found sucess in seeing a chinese herbalist for treatment?
I've got psoriasis, I'm clearly not an expert, but I believe very much in a holistic approach. I used to be covered from neck to toe, and now I've on ony 6 small dots of it. No cream has ever done me any good.

Please seriously try cutting out dairy for 3 weeks, and if that doesn't work, try cutting out wheat and gluten. Also, try to eliminate any stress the guy is under.

I don't believe in Chinese medicine, but it is more from a moral standpoint than a medical one (They use the ground up horn of an endangered Rhino for an aphrodisiac amongst other things), but I found homeopathy to be absolutely amazing, where conventional medicine had done nothing.Has anybody out there who suffers with skin eczema found sucess in seeing a chinese herbalist for treatment?
I am chinese myself and I have tried chinese remedies which surprisingly does work althouth yes, it is very expensive. I can recommend a very good doctor in Shaftesbury Avenue (central London) for you. His name is Dr. Tang 0207 734 0845. I have seen him before with a case of food poisoning and he has worked miracles.
never tried it.
no
my son got completely free of his eczema using a Chinese doctor it was costly but so worth it. We had used everything and I hate using hydrocortizone all the time.

but listen my aunt went to a herbalist who made her take a mix of herbs when she got worse the herbalist told her it was the eczema leaving her body she did this for ages and was worse she then found out it was plants and pollen that give her eczema so the herbs were causing the eczema .

I suggest your partner does a patch test to see what he's allergic to and my son showed signs of improvement within days .

lucky for him it looked like it was infant eczema and at 18 its gone without using anything
My daughter suffers from chronic psoriasis and has been hospitalised 7 times in the past three years for 5-6 weeks at a time. She also has had all the conventional treatment which i agree with you just helps heal the surface of the skin but doesn't treat the cause. I took her to one of these herbalists and spent over 拢100 on pills and lotions which didn't help one iota. I, just like you would like to find a remedy for such debilitating skin conditions.

I have been looking on the net and i have found another remedy called ';Oregon grape root extract'; which i am trying to order at the moment. We have got to the stage where we will try anything that might give her some comfort. Good luck
Not personally, but I know of someone who took their child to a chinese herbalist. They were given all these strange herbs to steep in water and give to the child who had bad eczema. It did disappear after two weeks (the exzema, not the child). So give it a try, and good luck.
Several years ago my husband had a case of eczema that a dermatologist called the worst he'd seen in twenty years of practice. He prescribed a cream and a very strong oral medication called Neoral that I believe is also used to fight organ rejection. This did the trick--but, again, this was very strong medication with some side effects.
