I've been dealing with eczema for a long time and I've tried every thing I know to try, so I'd be interested to hear any ideas, suggestions anyone may have. Thanks in advance. Best answer to be selected this evening for 10 points! What Eczema treatment that is effective? ?
I understand your frustration with the disease. Here are a couple is an article and a website that really helped me out. Take a look. Hope it helps. What Eczema treatment that is effective? ?
I have had eczema for 4 years
I tried prescription pills and creams but nothing worked and most over the counter meds made it worse
Hydrocortizone is also really bad for you if used for a long duration
Then I discovered Avene. It is a line of hypoallergenic products designed to help skin irritations. My eczema has improved a LOT and I reccomended it to my friend that has a 2 year old daughter and it is gentle enough but works wonders for her too.
I reccomend you buy the thermal spray first and see if that helps
Some of their products are pricey, but it works so well
If can't find them, I suggest finding any thermal spray that is hypoallergenic and non scented
And please use as much hypoallergenic, organic, and scent free products as you can to relieve your symptoms and avoid further irritation
Depending on where you eczema is too you can do different things
Face/neck - try different shampoo and cleansers
Most eczema is allergy related(chemicals, additives) as I found out mine is related to celiac disease (wheat/gluten sensitivity)
Possible see a dermatologist or allergist too???
Good luck
Any time I hear about someone suffering from eczema I really sympathize. I dealt with it for the majority of my life. All I can tell you is that if you want relief you've got to treat the disease and not just treat symptoms. Treating symptoms may bring instant relief, but it's not going to help you for long and they will only return worse then ever.
Hello there. I suggest that you should try eczema cream/spray combo from Champori.com It is herbal (steroid-free) and works better and faster on my eczema than anything else I tried: I haven't had a relapse for more than a year now after only a couple weeks of treatment. Champori comes with the money back guarantee, so if it doesn't work - it's free.
Best,
Bernadette
my little brother has this problem also. Once he tried hydrocortizone(i think thats how you spell it) it all went away. Just as long as you don't touch or scratch it it shouldn't come back.
